Final Grade Calculator
This grade calculator is the easiest way to work out what percentage you need on your finals to get the grade you want. You can also calculate your weighted average grade before and after the final exam.

To work out your weighted average enter the percentage score from your assesment/test/etc in the first column and in the second column enter how much the assesment was worth.
Put in all your marks so far and then submit to calculate your weighted mark.
You can use this calculator to estimate the marks you need in your final to achieve your desired grade. If you have used the calculator above to work out your mark so far then the weighted average will be entered for you.
How to use the Final Grade Calculator
The first calculator is used to work out what mark you have so far and also to calculate your weighted average. Enter the percentage you achieved on assesments/tests/homework etc.in the first box and the amount that it is worth from your final grade in the second. So for instance if you scored 85% on a test which is worth 20% of your final grade then enter 85 in the first box and 20 in the second. Do this for all the grades you have so far (only one class at a time) and then click calculate. The Final grade calculator will give you your total % scored so far and the amount of the class this is from. So if you have had two tests so far, each worth 20% of your final grade and you scored 85% and 78% on them, when you click calculate the final grade calculator will tell you that your total mark is 32.6% out of a possible 40%. Your weighted average is also calculated and placed in the first box of the second calculator, for this example it is 81.5%. This way if you have your final still to go you can calculate what mark you need to achieve the grade you want.
To use the second final grade calculator enter your weighted average in the first box (unless you have used the first final grade calculator, in which case it is done for you), enter the weighting of the final in the second box and the % you need for the grade you want in the last box. Click calculate and the final grade calculator will tell you the % you need on the final to get the grade you want. You can use the final grade calculator to determine the % you need for all different grades quickly and easily.
